Educators & Faculty
The L Makeup Institute culture puts students first in an environment designed to inspire and challenge oneanother. Our educators are professional working makeup artists who share the secrets of their success while providing personalized attention to ensure that each student discovers and develops their own unique style and artistic talent. We teach the importance of research and preparation, combined with lab work, interactive lectures, demonstrations, cooperative learning, practical exercises, and assignments. The curriculum breaks down each application into individual elements and incorporates daily projects and skill-building sessions, allowing students to master every aspect of makeup artistry in their chosen program or course. This approach enables students to learn by doing through hands-on repetition focused on methods to improve technique and results. As students master skills, they learn to incorporate them into more complex applications. To complement our curriculum, we incorporate Audio-Visual aids, guest speakers, field trips, projects, activities, as well as specialized outside professionals such as photographers and hairdressers visit our facility to share their expertise.
